Founded in 1945 in Austin, Texas
Mitchell Time & Parking has been an Amano dealer for 30 years as of 2022 and continues to be a Platinum Amano Dealer.
1945 – MTP founded
1974 – Began work with University of Texas
1977 – Started work on the original Erwin Center project in Austin
1992 – Gary Hobbs grows Mitchell Adding Machine to MTP
1992 – Became Amano dealer
1998 – Third generation, Kevin Hobbs, joins MTP
2001 – El Paso branch opens
2011 – Third generation, Nathan Hobbs, joins MTP
2016 – Fort Worth office opens
2018 – Tulsa office opens
2019 – Albuquerque office opens

Gary Hobbs, Owner/Operator
Gary is a second-generation owner/operator of MTP and has been with the company since 1992 and helped grow Mitchell Adding Machine to become Mitchell Time and Parking. Gary has over 3 decades of experience and knowledge in the parking and time management field.
Kevin Hobbs, Vice President
Kevin has 25 years of experience with Mitchell Time and Parking and oversees most of the projects being worked on at any given time. From installations and service to concrete work and fabrication, Kevin is a jack-of-all-trades and has provided countless solutions for unique problems on projects over the years.
Nathan Hobbs, COO
Nathan has over a decade of experience with Mitchell Time and Parking on top of being an architectural drafter and experienced salesman. Being a third-generation operator, Nathan has helped grow the company in recent years working on projects with UT Health & Science, Baylor Scott & White Hospital Network, and Dickies Arena/Will Rogers Event Center.
